    Ya I think Varsho could easily contribute more to the team by being a DH/Pinch Hitter/Pinch Runner than Schneider/Lukes.

    Frankly, most prefer seeing someone like Barger get a chance as we've already had enough sample from Schneider last year. I don't care if Barger is a lefty and would have to face other lefties. Hope Schneider has options and can go to AAA to prove he can hit high fastballs.

    I agree but it's why I said "it looks to have carried over" Plus defense and speed rarely takes a day off and Straw is a premium there when it's needed without Varsho.

    Been calling for him to be starting every game possible until Varsho is ready. He raked in the Spring and looks to have carried it over while filling a massive need for us defensively with Varsho out.
