    Kirk is coming Friday but where the hell is Barger? Usually guys with throwing issues can still swing a bat so really curious that its more serious than being led on. Hope that throw doesnt derail his career like it did with Bautista.

    Ya its far too early to be thinking Venezuela will push for Kirk's job. Just enjoy the ride while it lasts and if he does keep it up then it'll be a great problem to discuss next year or the year after.

    But the great thing is you would have always had the ability to pull him after 3 batters if he shat the bed. We let that scrub ride or die far too much last year and this year when most of us wanted a true closer at the deadline for the very same reason.

    Ive been wanting to keep Heiniman around just because of the positional depth we need at Catcher but its gonna seem extremely stupid sending Venezuela down lol I think theyre gonna use Venezuela at 1B a bit during Vladdy DH days just to keep his bat in the lineup. God knows Springer doesnt deserve the full time DH spot right now.

    Please god let Varland hold up with the amount we're using him. This team is one of of the worst teams in baseball without him tbh.

    If Schneider takes out Rogers after 4 pitches for Varland in the 8th so we need to rely on another pitcher (Hoffman) in the 9th, im gonna lose it.
