    Ya would be great to actually hear what you guys would do in various spots of the game to see your guys true knowledge. Obviously not every game since people have lives. Constant hindsight commentary that always sides with the same decisions the Jays make becomes ridiculous. I also understand staying away from overly emotional people like me though lol. Anyways Go Jays Go!

    If you dont bend the knee to every decision, you dont know anything. These guys come in hard after every game thread acting high and mighty thinking it makes them more knowledgeable. There was literally 1 guy on the board who stayed on the Jays bandwagon last season (Term) and yet here they are acting like they knew we were going to World Series. Their act is more pathetic lol.

    Hilarious how offended some of these guys get if you express displeasure for playing like s***. Its ok to admit we need to do better. Theres a reason why Vladdy was in the cages right after the game because he knows he has to do better. Guys in major US markets get these reminders in person very frequently...

    No one's jumping off any bandwagon. I just didnt think our offseason was as good as many. We are still one of the best teams in the AL thats playing like crap thus far.

    I said coming into the season Hoffman and our offense were seen as our biggest question marks. Then I CLEARLY said its actually been our offense + Little thus far.

    Agreed. Problem is that we are in a World Series or bust type of year after how last season finished. It does feel weird that we are asking a guy in Barger who has never been THAT guy to help carry a team with a 300M payroll. These are crazy expectations but it is what it is. Its also why theyre charging the prices they are to get into the stadium now.

    Agreed but bottom line is that other teams offered a contract to the players that they wanted. You get paid the money they do in the professional ranks to get the job done, not make an effort. If we couldnt offer the contracts to the players we wanted then you need to find a way to make a trade. You cant cry wolf when you have a 300M Payroll yourself lol.

    The problem wasnt they were too cheap. They spent money but got depth/fringe players instead of top end talent. Its like they wanted to raise their floor but neglected their ceiling.

    Look at the damn Dodgers lineup and look at ours. They beat us and still added Tucker to a stacked lineup. We swapped Bo for Okamoto, and made 0 other additions to improve there.

    From too many starters to Patrick Corbin coming to save the day loll. Seriously though, good that theyre being proactive. Now use that proactive attitude towards our offense. It should have been obvious as f*** that our offense + our closer was going to be our biggest weakness, and so far its been our offense + Little.

    One thing we can agree, the Jays have the WORST number 2 and 4 hitters of all contending teams in baseball. Vladdy continuing his playoff level performance was the only thing saving us but if he repeats his 2025 regular season, we are going to struggle to score enough runs. Hopefully we can address this at the deadline.

Here you are making fun of Barger but hes our damn cleanup hitter and you were ridiculing me when I said our offense was the big question mark this season. Just say "I agree with everything team does" and it'll save us from having to read your hindsight posts lol.

    Pretty sure you must have heard on the broadcast that it is Baseball 101 to let the ball roll as it had a chance to go foul. Hes also struggled with his range on a few plays. Its ok to criticize when if the team/players are playing bad. This isnt houseleague lol.

    Ya I think they saw the declining speed/health and saw that his only real skill left was elite hitting with not enough power to justify a massive longterm deal. I think they wanted him back but on a smaller deal than what he got offered from Philly. If he bounces back, he'll have the option to be a free agent next offseason and maybe we go after him depending on how we do this season. He'll be one of the best free agents again next year too.
