How a number 9 hitter cant bunt is f***ing ridiculous. It was stupid enough that we bunted but at least learn your damn role if youre a below average hitter ffs.
When the team is playing like complete crap with a near a 300M payroll, I feel they deserve the chirping. God forbid these guys were playing in majority of the US market right now, they'd be getting booed on a daily basis.
At least Springer was getting hot lately to justify that slightly. There is 0 justification to have Vladdy at 3rd at all. Anyways both suck right now lol
Vladdy still hitting 3rd is much worse. Its like JS doesnt realize that players are allowed to be moved down and then move back up when they are deserving.
I wont lie, I enjoy your banter because you dont take yourself too seriously lol.
And I wasnt upset at getting Varland... I (along with many others) were upset that the team didnt get a true closer for LAST YEARS team to move Hoffman where he belonged as the 7th/8th inning guy. Hoffman was one of the worst relievers in baseball and blew Game 7 (along with many others) so I clearly wasnt wrong there.
It frigging sucks but what choice do we have when theyre playing the way they have this season?
I thought this team was gonna come out like gangbusters to finish the job from last season. Instead, Varland is the only guy from last years team that has gotten better.
5 games in a row where the Jays have allowed 1st inning runs. Guess everyone needed to have a turn through the rotation lol.
*thats sarcasm for those folks who cant pick it up...
Man stfu please. Everyone in here can have a great time talking smack about the Jays except you and the usual folks who try to police the board.
No one gives a crap about you taking so much offense to any comment against the Jays even if it can be in a lighthearted fashion.
Haha for real man. Its been a miserable season so yes, there will be a lot of s*** posting to keep ourselves entertained because the Jays arent as hell doing it lol.
And totally agree with the assessment. I've been saying for over a year that Hoffman needed to be in the 7th/8th inning role like hes been for the best parts of his career. It was obvious to keep him there to limit his implosements whereas a closer you need to ride until the wheels fall off.
Really wish we could have won the "underlying numbers" World Series last year. Why does baseball allow games to be decided by actual results?!?! Arrgghh.
