The game is still on the radio, its just not a dedicated radio broadcast.
I dont think its going to be as big a deal as some think it is. Dan has experience calling games on the radio. He'll probably call the game as if it was just on the radio, which will come off as unnecessarily descriptive on TV, but still not a big deal.
No doubt the current system is better than a hard cap, but the pa essentially there be a soft cap, hence teams signing contracts like Bauers, Walkers, Wilsons, without getting a floor.
Any type of salary cap should come with a floor.
Doesnt sound like they'll be playing most of the season at Dunedin. Seems like they'll be transitioning to Buffalo or Toronto (most likely Buffalo) in May or June.
I mean they apparently were making offers for Lindor last offseason, so they've definitely wanted an upgrade there for a couple years.
Wanted Simmons at the deadline last year. Would have to think that Simmons would've played SS.
Idk if they really believe in Bo at SS. Or at least believe he can become an elite defender there. Which they may want at the shortstop position.
Bo definitely has something to prove this year.
Im just laughing at the fact that Stroman has been gone for a while yet his tweets are posted here all the time. I dont even particularly like Stroman and also agree he's a douche.
But its hilarious that he's still such a polarizing figure for some. Like look at your second paragraph lmao. All it does is make my original post funnier and funnier.
Think it helps the Dodgers with the luxury tax. Takes the aav to 34 million rather 42.5 if it was just the two years 85 million. I assume saves them a decent amount and Bauer still gets his money.
Just watched the video
Maybe. Idk, I have a hard time seeing the Jays hand out an unprecedented contract like that.
Seems like a contract a juggernaut payroll team like the Dodgers and now mets would give out, and I dont view the Jays at that level yet.
