Does Lindor get more or less than Machado's deal (10/300M)?

Its a trade off. Take advantage of Lindors prime, hopefully win a WS or two and stomach the 2nd half of the deal. You're going to want to take advantage of the rest of Lindors prime, which probably the next 5 years. If you acquire Lindor, you need to add more to really make this team a WS contender. Lindor + Springer/Realmuto + a top half of the rotation arm probably puts them there. Who knows if they have the payroll to do that. That Lindor contract will be massive, so I could understand if they passed tbh.

Love Gurriel, but he's not stopping me from getting one of the best shortstops in the league. Ideally you keep him, but you gotta give to get. Especially if you can get Lindor extended.

Depending on how Realmuto's market plays out, I could see him being the more attractive option. If the Mets are actually out on him, it makes things interesting.

Its going to be privately funded because they'll make a ton off those buildings they want to put up. Tax money going towards this isnt a concern, if this plan were to get approved. I just dont see why the land owners would agree to just let rogers and brookfield put up these condo's on their land and not get any money from it.

Classic Rogers. Once they got the idea that they could throw up some condos, they were all in. Anyways, sounds exciting. Hope it looks great. Retractable roof is a must. I also kinda hope the roof keeps the same general shape as the Rogers centre. Its such an iconic part of the skyline.

There is a chance the Jays could be playing in Dunedin, but they probably want to play in Toronto and who knows what things will be looking like in April.
