    Fnnn Buck and Tabler at the start of the broadcast talking about how the Jays really raise their game and play well against first place teams and teams in the middle of the playoff race. Does Rogers frown on drug use as much as they do DV??

    AA said in 2015 that the #1 lesson he learnt in the previous years was how important it was to emphasize defense when we was making the moves he was. The Shatkins Admin does not seem to have the same philosophy as AA.

    Same here.. What a boring game.. I have no desire to watch Kendry Morales, Russel Martin, Curtis Granderson and even Solarte these days. If they are not part of the future, they are just taking playing time... The only desire I have to watch games anymore is to see the Gurriels, newly acquired players, guys getting called up (legit prospects etc)

    Gibbons says he wanted Martin in the two spot because he has high OBP.. Well, if that is the case, hit him lead off.. IMO, he is the worst 2 spot hitter you could possible have. I don't like seeing Martin anywhere above 6. I think he needs to stay in 7 or 8.

    The issue is not his regular season stats from last year.. The issue is is high pressure playoff meltdown, that he sucked this year to the point he was in the minors. He has not pitched well since prior to the playoffs... The fact is, if you are performing you can have all kinds of issues, tell the manager to suck your dick and stay with the team. When you are sucking and you do that, minors you go...or in this case minors then trade.

    I am praying that Loup, and Axford are pulled from the game due to trades.. Morales has to come in and pitch, he Ks the side and we trade him to the Mets for Snydergard. Granderson is traded then Martin is pulled from the game because he is traded to the Yankees who want catching depth. I would have to drink a bottle of Blue Label to celebrate

    You don't need to be a Doctor, or even have strayed at a Holiday Inn Express. Go to Youtube, go to Baseball Reference, read the Houston beat writers, look at the actions of the Houston organization, and the fact they would take a DV problem child in return for him...

    Just heard that on the radio, thanks! Where is (was) the Jays farm system ranked compared to Houston's prior to the trade.. i'e Perez was 10 with Houston and Paulino was 23 I think in Houston's system.. Does that mean we have comparable systems? Thanks

    I agree with you also... You can both be right you know.. I was over Osuna even prior to the DV.... I am just saying, getting Giles back is trading one issue for the other... I think Osuna is well on his way to blowing a lot more saves in the future.. Giles is already there....

    8 yrs later after how many DFAs and teams.. I was being somewhat factitious, but, there are lots of guys who can throw hard, have great stuff but can't pitch worth a s***. In 8 yrs Vlad Jr will be a fat Prince Fielder doppelganger probably limited to DH and just signed with an LA team.

    I have a feeling Giles is going to make me punch myself in the Face.. I don't like that fact we are getting a guy who buckled in the playoffs and is so "Elite" he is in the the minors and the team gave the closer role to someone else.. I know he is not the crux of the deal... I just wouldn't say "Elite" closer anymore..
