  1. Very overrated? Explain? Please provide evidence. Top 10 closer this year and he is making 520K. 21 years old, 17.1 innings in the post season. 1.04 ERA
  2. I agree. After the season he had, that wild card walk-off and the clear love that this fan base has for him I could see him wanting to stay and maybe even retire as a Blue Jay. If the term is right for him I could see him taking a discount to stay, especially because at this point even a hometown discount equates to probably more money than he is ever likely to spend. I really hope we can bring him back. I feel that Rogers should put more money in this coming season. If you look at the TV ratings and buzz across the country that this team generated the last 15 months, bringing back EE would be a big step in maintaining it imo.
  3. Bautista will have very little leverage this off season to force any team to allow him to play in RF again. Maybe the injuries this year effected his mobility and given the chance at the beginning of next season he could prove himself. I would give him the QO. If he accepts force him to a DH/1B only.
  4. Or it could go the other way, wont work out or his arm blows up and he is unable to regain his form after transitioning back to a closer. He doesnt want to be a starter and is doing a damn fine job as a closer so why mess with it? We would also have to go out and get another good relief arm to replace him..
  5. Feldman came in and pitched incredible in that 12-6 come back win in that rain delayed game at Yankee Stadium. Cant win every trade.. I feel like we fleeced the Pirates, two top 10 prospects and Liriano for Hutch.
  6. I hope Osuna is staying. Cost controlled and young effective closer who is a fan favorite. Elite relief pitchers are going to command big money in the coming years and I could see him signing a long term deal for club friendly $/year because it guarantees him and his family are set for life.
  7. Maybe move Happ since his value is higher right now. Give Biagini a chance to replace him in the rotation.
  8. I dont think he will retire, I could see him going to an NL team with a big park. Either way I wish him all the best, he seems like an awesome human being.
  9. Ill never forget seeing that 7th inning unfold live, capped off with that epic homerun, the best moment in Toronto Sports since Joe Carter.
  10. Seeing him pitch a scoreless inning at the Canada game was pretty cool...
  11. when he went back to back to tie and walk off for us against Texas in May.
  12. I dont think any of us appreciate his attitude but to make a thread like this about those two, right after getting knocked out of the ALCS and probably the end of the Bautista era... cmon
  13. Exactly f***ing joke after what Jose has done for this club. Him and Martin have been banged up all year.
  14. Thank you Jose!
  15. Even if its over tomorrow, everyone needs to stop whining. Second year in a row we make the ALCS. We win an epic wild card game on a walk-off EE homerun and then proceed to crush our most hated rival, the Rangers, capped off with another walk-off win to wrap up the sweep at home. We havent played like we are deserving of a World Series berth. Three runs in three games simply isnt good enough and we have a aging team. JD, Bautista and Martin are all playing hurt.. not to mention we are facing the incredible Andrew Miller who has 20Ks through 9 innings of post season baseball against two of the best run producing clubs in the game.. We have witnessed some great moments over the last few weeks and we are still watching meaningful games on October 18th. I say just sit back and enjoy whatever happens tomorrow. The pressure is off the team, maybe this will be the spark they need..
  16. Miller was just good period. I think most of these pitches were from Kluber or Tomlin. When borderline pitches and pitches a little outside the zone start to go against you, it forces you to start swinging at more junk. I didnt watch the game on TV so I have no idea how bad the calls were in relation to pitch tracker.. I just hope that being at home the next few games we will get the advantage and it all evens out.
  17. Lead off walk to their 9 hitter costs a run
  18. Scored a single 3 rows up from home plate. Let's go Blue Jays!!!
  19. My guess is they just don't want to change anything. They have been very successful the past 2 weeks I'm not sure I would mess with anything
  20. If anyone is interested I'll sell my Wednesday tickets for face. Section 523 row 21, 2 seats together $120 each Section 138 row 10 single $150
  21. I'm glad I didn't buy anything yesterday, I'll scoop up a single close to the field shortly. They will come down in price for Tuesday and Wednesday I think
  22. Prices came way down on tickets, looks like below face value
  23. I was 10 lol. Clark was sitting in the back seat the whole time.
  24. Im looking for a single for tonights game. Should I just wait until a few hours before a buy from stubhub? There doesnt seem to be much selling and Im looking for face value or better.
