  1. better form than a lot of throws from short in his games in a Jays uni
  2. suck it up guys, you have a noon start today
  3. I usually watch Mets games, and gave up on this one in the 3rd inning (been a long week at work) Tuned in for the Reyes 8th later on, Ron asked Keith if players took it easy on position players pitching Keith said heck no, one of the best memories of his career was hitting it out of the park against (forget the name now...) That's why I put Hernandez at the top of announcers on TV
  4. Thor, deGrom and pray for the apocalypse on the other game days
  5. Jose Reyes pitching the 8th
  6. 16-0 in the 5th
  7. Turner had his third plate appearance before the Mets got through their order once Road trip a few years ago in Cincy for a Jays series, with the Reds taking early 8-0 leads in both games. Jays came back to win the first but lightning didn’t strike twice.
  8. Mets’ Matz pasted for 8 hits and 7 runs in the first. Nats’ Turner gets two hits and two stolen bases in the first. See what else is on....
  9. saw him play a few times on the visiting team at the SilverDome, always made an effort to see Alex English play when he was within road trip distance, and World B. Free as well....
  10. Flashback to Billy McKinney, a small guard with the run-and-gun Nuggets in the early 1980s.
  11. I am told that robot ump is going to give the high strike and batters are going to whine till the cows come home.
  12. Rosenthal broke the story, with the support of a few players on record. AA denied it at first, then had it quashed completely.
  13. would you deal deGrom or Thor if you could, as the Mets?
  14. Hosmer is a shell of his best days, watching the Mets/Pods series i guess it's worth it to be stuck there for the rest of your career.... i wouldn't want that....
  15. Just watched the tape again, didn’t erase it The runner at second held up and when he saw the third out called at the plate moved toward third, not at a competitive speed, thinking the inning was over. The play at the plate was a good example of how replay can get it right on a very tough call. Keith and Ron attacked the replay decision for awhile, possibly the runner could be back at second on the replay reversal. At the very least arguing that the spirit of the game and intent of the rules doesn’t require a ruling like that. Just another unforeseen thing replay has now brought to the game...
  16. I’ve asked a few oldtimers and they dont recall seeing a 4th out just in case The ump call of out at home probably led to the trail runner moving just for the heck of it, he probably would have stopped at second hearing a safe call at the plate
  17. Can’t recall this happening before. Bases loaded two out for the Padres, single to left, one run scores, second runner called out on a close play at the plate, runner at second continues to third and is thrown out for a “4th” out. Replay overturns the call at home, run scores and 4th out ends the inning.
  18. watching the Mets lately, Keith and Ron are good to listen to, the broadcast knows and admits the team sucks. Jose Reyes doing his best as well, they only ask why he's out there twice a game, at least he doesn't have this grin like he smoked a bowl before he went out to play
  19. Jose Bautista flubs a fly to right leading to the downfall of another deGrom great start.
  20. Good day to tape and watch Tiger in the third last pair
  21. Chapman stunk in his outing against the Mets, a hit and 3 walks and beaning the always leaning Nimmo, almost tossed away a 4 run lead in the 9th Nimmo has the Mets record for hit by pitch in a season, I guess Ron Hunt was merely in undergrad mode with the Mets before his doctorate in the free base for the Expos years

I'm "wait and see" on this, i accept they are fed up with DeRozan, many serious fans are very upset about this trade. If you don't like your roster, it will change next year, maybe halfway through.

He is probably the most inconsequential 20 point scorer I have ever seen in the NBA, going back to 1973.

welcome Kawhi, with your year off milking a bogus injury to escape the cult of personality in San Antonio, hope you are rested and ready to be a real alpha-dog for the Raptors...
