I had the sound down and was not fully watching and thought it was a home run by the camera angle, so I thought the later home run put the Jays up 2-1. The stats gurus also put up save stats when Oh came in and non-save stats when Robertson entered. Buck might be calling from the TV monitor which can add to the hype on a can of corn.

Reds TV crew attacked at least 7 in-game decisions by Maddon on Saturday, I agreed a few of them were crazy (for the little I know...) and the Cubs overcame a bad Chatwood start to win anyway Cubs Heyward left the game described as difficulties from a foul tip taken in the groin area.

Reds at Cubs today, based loaded and Chatwood throws back to back wild pitches in the first. 2-0 Cincy and the boobirds make their presence felt.

Today in 1963, Juan Marichal and Warren Spahn duel 0-0 for 16 innings until the Giants finally win 1-0 on a Willie Mays homer. In a related story, the Nationals and Phillies used 18 pitchers to get through 13 innings yesterday. You tell me which kind of baseball is better.

Buck is a very good colour announcer, he gets too excited over cans of corn for Jays home games, they are trying for some kind of banter and entertainment from Buck and Pat. A lot of teams have announcers intending to lull you to sleep.

Gibby 1.0 is one of the worst. I rank Buck and Pat middle of the pack, after watching every TV crew for at least one series every season.

hitting 100 but all taters Yankees rocked Braves pitcher Newcomb last night, he went inside on Hicks and tasted a right-field porch home run, was doing a St Vitus's dance on the hill and in the dugout, then served one up to Higoshioka and didn't get through the 3rd.

Yankees catcher Higoshioka is the third Yankee to hit 2 home runs for his first 2 hits in MLB, since 1920. Joe Lefebvre and Alfonso Soriano were the others. Soriano went 3 for 3, over 2 seasons. come to think of it, the Lefebvre card was great off the bench for the 1980 Yankees in Statis Pro Baseball.

if you aren't old enough to remember the 4 Stanely Cups it must be sheer misery cheering for this team, with all the talk of that era even worse than cheering for the Leafs.

Leafs have barely anything on D, would have liked to build this as you need it when it matters. And they are nowhere near the championship teams the Penguins built, in any respect of the game, but improving, which is good.
