  1. Correct, the home team gets to declare the conditions are unsafe to play in, until the lineup cards are handed over, then the crew chief has the power

Raps had to give a lot of themselves to get by Philly, this new opponent is better than Philly and rested. So many options to go to on the Bucks, if one isn’t working then five more can step up, they don’t care at all who gets the support points on a given night. For a stretch in the 2nd both KL’s had to improvise totally on their own and make highly contested shots, which the cheerleaders on the Raptors TV crew couldn’t bother to notice. The Bucks were downcourt in two seconds with one or two wide open and ready shooters to chime in. No shame in losing to this team, it was the best in the regular season, just go down fighting.
  3. First time watching a Jays TV broadcast in awhile, the pitch count on screen after two tonight was 4 short on Stroman and 2 short on Covey. Yeah it’s a bit of a math obsession or is there a new Canadian way to keep pitch count?

The Cavs took a total dive those two games, was an easy sweep but the league asked for two more games to be strained out for the $$$

For years taught the kids the legal allowance on steps and maybe 1 in 20 has it sink in to use in a game. And it looks really bad when one is not at full speed, but it’s not travelling.

The condos above and below were easily two minutes lagging behind my caveman cable TV feed, i guess streaming isn't a great thing for live action that matters, when a live score moves a city or country. I can ruthlessly play this card and cheer as loud as them during the World Cup when a team scores and they won't see it for two minutes or more....
  7. White Sox runner on second with one out, runs on an obvious foul pop up to third for the unique double play of foul to third and throw to second to end the inning...

hold them out, look the other way, and grit yer teeth.... from the playground to the dressing room it's all the same i couldn't give any team in the East more than a 25% chance of being the one in the Finals right now, enjoying this.

the Bruins just threw their stick on the ice for games 1,3,5 and tried for 2,4,6 they possumed in the 2011 (?) SCF in games at Vancouver and then crushed them in game 7, all Canucks fans thinking it was their's based on the series so far.
  11. listening to the Dodgers/Brewers game while at the office today. Birthday Boy Joc Pederson led off with a home run and has hit another in the 4th, and a single in the second so far....
  12. He endorsed one of the better baseball sim games a few years ago, I just stared at the promo gushing him as a big fan of the game, then I just let it all float away....

Bruins came out hitting and took an easy 2-0 lead, goalie made a great save to stop it going to 3-0 soon after. Through back to back PPs the Leafs tied it. The Bruins then put in 3 more goals and won the game. How is this the Leafs dominated the whole game? (NHL teams tend to sit back with a one-goal lead... with two they are very D-minded.)

Embiid is hurt, no surprise at that result Brooklyn and Orlando had to show up the last 20 games and were entertaining to watch They couldn’t flounce around for months and yawn and screw fans out of paying $$$ to watch load management at its finest

Not sure why the Bs didn’t bother trying game one, just come out and belt the Leafs in the mouth twice and they’ll crater on the spot.

yes, for cheering from 1971 there was.... beating the Isles in 1978 92-93 and two other semi final exits after that so that's....... 5 years since 1971.... oops, in 1986 they got in due to the abomination of the Norris Division with 25 wins and got to game 7 of the second round of the abomination of the Norris Division playoff scheme. for a few years in the mid-70s they took on the Broad Street Bullies in some memorable bloodbaths, won the first 2 in Philly in 1977, then choked a 3 goal lead away in the last 7 minutes at MLG in game 4.... wasn't meant to be....

Sometimes men who watch sports like to go over the old times, especially since the Leafs have rarely entered the playoffs with any hope of a second round. Reminded a friend about the 1981 series with the Islanders Dynasty where they basically crucified the Leafs 3-0 on the way to a SC. He had erased that one completely.

My first Bruins/Leafs playoff memory was it being like 10-0 for Boston and Quinn hurt Bobby Orr and in the ensuing riot Forbes Kennedy fought the whole B's bench and slugged the linesman (getting a life suspension) It has been just as painful the other times we've faced the B's to varying degrees. Not a penny on the Leafs.

  25. Cards starter Mikolas plunked 3 Dodgers in his 6 innings last night, with absolutely no intention to do so. That's a large number.
