i was informed that the combination of 19 year old Soto (Nats) and Gleybar's age 21 (Yankees) was the lowest combined age of two home run hitters in a game since the 1800s, a player with the nickname of Egyptian was part of the 1800s duo. Or something like that, not a stat I thrive on but a good factoid.
In addition, Soto hammered two home runs, the second to the opposite field gap well past the Yankees bullpen, which is a rarity in that park for location, landing just in front of the Casio sign. the TV crew marvelled at this for awhile.
