  1. For Sanchez starts I pretty much only look at walks and Ks, especially walks
  2. Sanchez Ks the side, all swinging. What in the world...oh wait its the Twins

What a garbage game from Lowry

Terrible awful finish to the first half. Maybe we can keep one of the home games close for 3?

The real problem has been Lowry playing like absolute s***. The refs are out of control right now too.

This is mostly how I feel too. Seeing them play good basketball and continue to move in a positive direction is really what's important. Although I would say this year was massively positive with the development of young players and some entertaining games, not to mention a top ten pick too

On the ESPN halftime show they asked what the Raptors can do to get back in it. They said try not to get injured or lose by 30. We only had 7 defensive rebounds in that entire half haha

Lol how many dunks is that
  9. Wow that curve is on fire today. What is that, 4 swinging Ks against lefties?!?!!
  10. Poor start yesterday. Not very many whiffs, too many walks and it wasn't the umpire's fault. The positive is the Jays still won even though Sanchez did not have even close to his best stuff yesterday. He had poor command of the two seam and left like 25-30 pitches up and arm side way out of the zone.

You can probably fill the backup SF or PF from the 9th pick. Let DD walk and then sign Biyombo and another depth forward.

I hope Derozan gets called out for this performance, this is embarrassing.

Yeah I said ideally lol. Like eventually they can handle their minutes

Ideally Bebe takes Thompson/Scola's minutes, Bruno takes JJ's and Powell and Ross take Derozan's

Gotta love every other play when Derozan throws it to an unsuspecting player with 3 on shot clock

Can we hit some free throws?
  22. I swear I've seen Sanchez mentioned as a potential FIP beater because of the extreme GB rate. Maybe it was someone as clueless as me
  23. It's really crazy how good he's been against righties. He's only given up 8 XBH in 86 IP against right handers.
  24. He also has a career BABIP of .238 which clearly isn't sustainable, but I expect his BABIP would be slightly lower than average given the GB rate. Another random stat: If he keeps pitching like this he would be a 2.5 WAR pitcher over 140 innings
  25. So here we are after 6 starts: 8 K/9 2.8 BB/9 60% GB rate 3.33/3.20 FIP/xFIP 0.7 WAR (Already surpassed the preseason ZIPs projection of 0.6 in 100 innings) 8.8% Swstr up from 7.0 last year Batters Faced: 158 Swstr stabilizes at 70 and walk rate stabilizes at 170...so he's approaching that point as well. The most promising thing so far for me has definitely been the reduction in walks. His first pitch strike percentage is way up and he doesn't look as out of control as last year. I see lots of positive signs so far, but I wonder how much is small sample size and how much is a true change in talent...
