  1. Dickey WAR for the 3 years with the Jays: 5.4 Syndergaard + d'Arnaud just last year: 5.3
  2. Carrera isn't even that fast. I can't think of one thing he does better than Pompey and he's almost definitely worse than Ceciliani
  3. Seriously, where the f*** is Ceciliani? Why do we care about losing Carrera?
  4. Most frustrating thing so far is that there are still garbage players like Carrera on the roster with better options just sitting in AAA
  5. Everyone chill. We're facing Joe f***ing Kelly and have the meat of the order up for a second time. We're gonna score runs
  6. 16 whiffs, 4 of them on changeups. He also threw 75% of his curveballs for strikes! Oh and average fastball speed was 96.8
  7. 16 whiffs tonight! What's that, like 17% swstr?!
  8. Most important and craziest part of Sanchez's start: 6IP 0BB
  9. Wow way to go Sanchez
  10. It would be silly to put Sanchez in the bullpen. Especially after what he's shown this spring. I know ST stats are basically meaningless, but if there's the smallest chance he can lower the walk rate then you have to explore it given the upside.
  11. You really embody your avatar picture, huh?
  12. Hey guys, I'm pretty new here and thought this would be a great way to kick off spring training... Bold Predictions -Can be anything related to the Jays. And this we can look back and see how dumb everyone looked. I'll start off with this: Pompey quickly earns an everyday spot in the lineup, then after a month or two he replaces Pillar as leadoff hitter (we know this is gonna happen) and goes on to put up 3+ WAR.
  13. If a move like this could get Osuna out of the bullpen and back to working as a starter then it'll pay off with more than just a win this year. Great move
  14. Those top prospects of the decade are so bad lol
  15. Love it, rankings look great so far
  16. Yeah...but thats not how BABIP works. It's much more likely that his BABIP won't stay above .320 every year.
  17. I think that Hutch could have a huge bounce back year. Obviously he's way better than the mid 5s ERA from last year with that huge BABIP, but even beyond that I really hope his strikeouts return. Looking at the stats it seems like the biggest change was in O-contact % from 62.7% in 2014 to 70% last year. I don't know if thats a skill that stabilizes quickly, but league average was around 65-66% so he could benefit from that a bit, maybe?
  18. ^^Nothing good happens after 2 am... There's no good reason to not at least try Osuna as a starter. He's only 20 years old, most pitchers his age are just reaching high A. He's clearly got major league stuff already and there's no reason he can't develop and refine his off speed pitches. I don't know what you would do with him now considering the current rotation but locking him into the bullpen at this point seems stupid as f***.
