  1. Seems like a potential utility/bench bat. Splitting his time between 2B/LF with a bit of 3B https://www.fangraphs.com/players/davis-schneider/sa3004518/stats?position=2B/3B
  2. Found this sort of interesting. Harrison was drafted as an RP last year in the 9th round. Fairly highly regarded as a reliever having been ranked 175th by BA, but zero starts in three seasons at Long Beach State. Made his first 19 pro appearances from the pen (nine last year and ten this season) but got stretched out to make his first career start on Sunday. Five nearly perfect innings allowing just one soft ground ball single. https://www.fangraphs.com/players/devereaux-harrison/sa3020259/stats?position=P
  3. No, we should have just plunked him.
  4. He meant to say fastball on the first tweet but check out the sliders in that thread.
  5. Chad Dallas is set to make his AA debut tomorrow
  6. Sounds like still sitting in the low 90s and touching 95. Sort of odd because apparently he had ramped up into the high 90s during the covid year, but has never shown that velocity in game. The slider looks like it's becoming a legit out pitch though, which likely accounts for much of his success so far this season.
  7. It will be interesting to see if he can make these results hold up over a larger sample, the stuff looks pretty legit. Coming up on five years since we drafted him early as a tall, projectable HS arm, might stand to reason that he'd start coming into his own at 22/23
  8. Kloff was carving them up with his breaking stuff
  9. In April, Orelvis slashed .089/.159/.250 in 56 AB. In May (46 AB) he's sitting .239/.300/.826

    NHL Thread

Apparently they are building an NHL size stadium in an Atlanta suburb. Surely the league wouldn't be dumb enough to try that market for a third time, right?
  11. Yeah I can't blame the fans one bit. The whole situation is just sad.
