    I was going to suggest that Isaac Paredes may soon find himself bumped out of the 3B job in Tampa by Curtis Mead, but the latter is having a dreadful start to the AAA season.

    Yep and has found the command enough in the past to have a bit of success, as recently as 2021. Won't be surprised if someone gives him another shot.

    It's only been a bad gamble in hindsight but made perfect sense at the time. Basically paying him like a roughly 1 win player and he's been over 2 WAR in eight seasons. Up until now, he's only had one season where he played at least 100 games and failed to produce over 2 WAR. There was reason to think he could have brought significant surplus value at 9M

    One can argue that no one in baseball is living up to their name more than Colin Holderman, currently leading MLB with nine holds.

    This has to be pretty much it for Espinal. He's been a complete noodle at the plate, can't have him costing us defensively as well. Has to be a MI out there more deserving of that playing time.

    Yeah I'm curious if there's an official rule or maybe an unspoken one, regarding when you should have your lineup set. Really not sure, but it seems to be causing more unrest in their own fanbase (search for Mariners lineup on twitter) than anything. Lots of pissed off Mariners fans right now, we might be the tipping point for two fanbases in a row if this one goes our way.
