  1. Haha I remain curious as to whether or not he's noticed. I miss that show...
  2. Thanks, will be a beauty of a day as long as the boys in blue come through!!
  3. Had a satellite installer out at the lake this morning to put up a dish, but apparently he couldn't get a strong enough signal through the trees. My response? Enjoy your weekend family, I'm heading home to watch the Blue Jays. Empty house, fridge full of cold beer - gonna spin up a couple lefties and enjoy the hell out of this game. Go Jays!
  4. Bautista (2pts)- Jonn, Condor13 Donaldson (2pts)- LTBF, baseballsss Edwin (2pts)- Pendleton Tulo (2pts)- jays4life19 Saunders (2pts)- Martin (5pts)-o2 Smoak (5pts)- Pillar (7pts)- Upton Jr. (4pts)- Thole (10pts)- Carrera (10pts)- Barney(10pts)- Candy Maldonado Travis (7pts)- Bench (10pts)- Pitcher (20pts)-
  5. So what would be a fair price to give up for Hill as a rental? Perdomo + Rios ?
  6. Six starters would probably be the way to go
  7. I would be pumped if we got Hill, hopefully they would tack on a solid reliever as well (bring back Rzep as a loogy?)
  8. Yeah but there must have been some money earmarked for a Cecil extension this off season that could be given to a better lefty should the opportunity present itself.
  9. Acquiring Logan would be a boon to this bullpen for sure.
  10. Turner is awesome and he's probably the better prospect, but I love everything I read about and see of Victor Robles. He'd the prospect I'd be most excited about acquiring in this completely hypothetical and unrealistic scenario.
  11. I totally disagree. There's a substantial gap between being a scrappy fan favourite and a true face of the franchise. Bautista has been that guy for several years now. IMO the only conversation to be had is whether that torch has been passed from Bautista to Donaldson this season.
  12. Are we talking "face of the franchise" or just your favourite players? Without getting into the rest, there's no argument to be made for putting guys like Pillar and Travis in that conversation.
  13. I think Todd had him in his top 80.
  14. Kratz might be better than Thole, or he might not be, but it's a zero risk move either way. Ok, but I'd rather stick Pete the hot dog vendor back there before putting our MVP behind the plate to get his thumb jammed. They would totally disregard that experience and throw in someone less valuable if that emergency situation ever occurred.
  15. If Vlad Jr turns out to be a legit slugger we won't give a hoot about his base running any way.
  16. I really don't see JB being traded. For the sake of conversation, Victor Robles would be a great target in this scenario.
  17. Maybe that will help propel him back into our top 60...
  18. Of value? Nah, I can't see it.
  19. Wow, I hope I can hit 95 with my fastball when I'm 39
  20. Dickerson again, feasting on those hangers
  21. Buck is back on Friday? Smell ya later Devlin.
  22. If they were planning on having Martin come into the game they wouldn't have let Thole bat.
  23. Unless Martin actually needed the day off. He did take a hard fastball in the back last night. Otherwise I agree, no reason Thole should be hitting here. Solid AB by Thole though, did the job.
  24. I would hope Martin would have batted for Thole if Barney had reached there. Now you can have him lead off the bottom of the 8th and only have to catch one inning on his "day off". Edit: I'm dumb, it's only the 7th
