    Yeah he seemed to be a high floor guy who would be a perfect bench player at worst. Pretty big waste, there are certainly guys doing a heck of a lot more in the bigs despite having much less to work with. But as I said the other night, AAA is full of guys with big league tools and little league brains.

    I thought Shapiro didn't believe in giving up top prospects for rentals?

    He seems like a guy who might just hit his way into an opportunity. I'm sure he's not far off from another promotion, at 25 there's no reason to keep him at AA with the success he's having.

    Yeah I agree, they should be able to put together a good package for either guy without having to give up a guy like Schwarber.

    During today's game the Cubs commentators spent a good two innings discussing the idea of moving Schwarber for one of the Yanks top relievers.

    Thought we were about to see Tulo get tossed there. Glad he didn't cross the line, but probably no reason to say anything at all in a 10-1 game.
