  1. Underdog spot, I like it. Actually I really don't understand how I made playoffs at all, but now it's my time to shine. Edit - now I'm off the list, but still on the other one. I sent my pick but whatever
  2. Now that's just taking it way too far, the most uneventful hockey game is still way more exciting than that garbage.
  3. Hockey is like 3/4 of my life and I completely agree about the media being too annoying to stand. The over analysis of the sport has gotten out of hand.
  4. I don't see the point of paying to get rid of Tulo, especially when it will also cost us fairly big bucks to replace him with someone decent. Probably better to just keep him...
  5. If it worked like that there would be no point in playing the games.
  6. Mine says the same, has to be an error.

Dickey to the hill, opening a three-game series with Masahiro Tanaka and the Yankees at Yankee Stadium. Toronto has won 15 of its last 22 meetings with the Yankees in New York, a setting in which the Yankees used to dominate their neighbors from the north. The Blue Jays have won nine of 12 contests against the Yankees overall this season, including five straight in late May. For the Yanks, Labor Day brings another pivotal matchup as they cling to hope in the AL Wild Card race, 3 1/2 games back. Tanaka draws the call for the home team and will attempt to remain unbeaten for the sixth consecutive start. Three things to know about this game: • Tanaka has enjoyed success against most of Toronto's lineup, but Edwin Encarnacion is a notable exception. Encarnacion is 8-for-19 (.421) with two doubles, a home run and two RBIs against the right-hander. Meanwhile, Dickey is 0-2 against the Yankees this season. • Josh Donaldson has been swinging a hot bat. The reigning AL MVP entered Sunday's series finale against the Rays batting .378 (17-for-45) with six homers and 12 RBIs during a 12-game hitting streak. • The Yankees' Gary Sanchez was named the AL Player of the Month and the AL Rookie of the Month for August, becoming the first catcher ever to pick up both honors. The promising 23-year-old worked a walk in his second at-bat on Sunday at Baltimore and has reached base safely in 19 straight games. GDT record 1-0

  9. Made it interesting
  10. Slider has some bite
  11. We've got this in the bag
  12. Triple play prediction
  13. Yeah I agree that would be helpful.
  14. Booze night tomorrow Edit: Or maybe tonight
  15. So many guys would have swung on that 1-2 pitch
  16. My condolences for your loss
  17. I think you misread the question. Pretty sure he was asking why you just have it listed as Hutch for Liriano when the two prospects we were received were obviously a main driving factor in the Jays agreeing to the deal.
