    They also like run support and traditionally Navarro is a waaay better hitter. I can't disagree that Navarro's offensive struggle probably takes away or reverses any difference in value he would have held over Thole, I'd still rather see Navarro in the lineup.

    You might be right, but I bet if you walk around the clubhouse and ask who they'd rather see behind the dish, everyone other than Dickey would probably say they have more confidence in Navarro than Thole to play everyday in Martin's absence. At least you can say Navarro is having an off year which is putting him in Thole territory, Thole just belongs there.
