  2. Wow, I was thinking more in the $2M+ range to buy Williams out of his Vandy commit.
  3. Did you also see who debuted at 103?
  4. Yeah don't do that, the original is delicious as is.
  5. I was going to put a lower upside MLB ready arm such as Quantrill in place of Allen. I'd definitely think we need at least one guy from Patino's range of their prospect list in a Stroman deal.
  6. They really do have exactly what we need. Surplus of controllable MLB OF, some high end pitching at various levels and some other close to the majors arms of interest, great farm in general. Hopefully they string enough wins together to push them into buyer mode. Luis Patino, Manuel Margot, Logan Allen and Andres Munoz for Stro...too much?
  7. Could have said this in a PM
  8. Just finished reading about the Padres having an OF logjam. Would it make sense for us to try and buy low on Manuel Margot, whether it be as a secondary part of a package for one of our big chips or just in general?
  9. BTS might be AWOL. Sent him a BJMB PM and nothing...
  10. His father is former Jays player and current coach - Ken Huckaby
  11. Live stream shot for shot
  12. Yeah that's the part I think he's forgetting. The minimal bonus guys are generally going to be college seniors who have a four year degree to fall back on. Their choice is to take a few grand in signing bonus and a small salary in order to keep chasing their dream - or join their graduating peers trying to find a job. Even then they've come out well ahead of most of those peers, not being buried in debt thanks to scholarships. Really no reason to feel sorry for these senior signs at all, they are still in much better standing than your average 22 year old college graduate.
  13. First organization in the big leagues to announce a large (50% +) raise for all minor league players.
  14. I would think we can save enough on rounds three and six to pay for the second rounder.
  15. Really good looking pick for the Astros, they know their pitching.
  16. Groshans would make sense at this point
  17. Robertson was one I mentioned for the previous pick, the panel seems to think it's great value here.
