  1. No, but note that Bush was released before been given a 2nd chance with another team. IMO Osuna will be treated like Chapman i.e. be traded as soon as possible.
  2. What are the chances a 20 year old is this sensible with money?
  3. If he gets a suspension he’ll be given the option to backdate it to cover the administrative leave, and yes he’d have to pay back his salary. It’s what happened to Reyes
  4. At a minimum Gurriel should be on the 25 man over Urshela.
  5. A day later and Juan Soto has the same WAR as our joint batting leaders Maile and Pillar. Happ is out in the lead with 1.9 though.
  6. Seems a bit pointless to call him up now, but I wanted to see Al Alburquerque get a chance in the bullpen this season.
  7. Things to do in DC: All the main museums are free. It’s worth a day on its own walking from one end of the National Mall to the other - you have the Lincoln Memorial at one end and the capitol building, senate and national library at the other, with museums on either side as you walk, and the Washington Monument. The Air and Space and the Natural History museums are probably the best two. A random decent one is the Postal Museum - an interesting history, a Unabomber exhibit, and lots of rare stamps. Not that far away (walkable) are the White House, Iwo Jima monument, and the Jefferson monument, all must see. Arlington Cemetery (the military cemetery) - over the river (get the subway there). Very moving, thousands of graves including some presidents (e.g. JFK), and a few monuments like the tomb of the unknown soldier. Seeing the Nationals - if it’s an evening game check the subway times, annoyingly some of the lines shut early so you can get stranded if you’re staying on the other side of the city. The stadium is great, you’ll have a good view wherever you sit.
  8. Every run we score means I can not think about the Ohtani and Vlad injuries for a little bit more.
  9. It’s not necessarily a tear. All tears are sprains, but not all sprains are tears. If it is a tear, then it’s possible he’s done for the season. But we don’t know yet. You’re being pessimistic which is understandable. However, they could just be acting overly cautious with the biggest asset the team has.
  10. You need to set that as your avatar!
  11. It never gets old embarrassing the Orioles.
  12. Walk in the winning run please
  13. Wow can’t believe we got out of that, nice play.
  14. Would be refreshing but I suspect we’ve missed that window. Perhaps we trade someone instead - Granderson?
  15. Hope he doesn’t lose his roster spot to Pearce when he’s back from the DL.
  16. Nice Hernandez!
  17. You take Machado out of this lineup and it's so bad. Let's make it three wins in a row!
  18. It was after game 1. It'll have been in the locker room after JR Smith f***ed up on court. I love that LeBron can't even look at JR, and then when he asks about the timeouts left and finds out there was one, he looks like he doesn't know whether to cry or punch JR.
