  1. God damn that is just an awful swing by Vladdy. His ab's are actually getting worse not better.
  2. Buck/Dan trying to make a case for Sal Perez in the Hall.
  3. Someone tell the Jays who they're playing.
  4. Good start Kuch. Now let's wake them bats up.
  5. Pitch calling is the only thing Jansen has over Kirk behind the plate. Kirk is as good or better in most other ways. Gonna miss Jano' s bat though and we may not see Chapman for the duration either. Tough times in Blue Jay land.
  6. Varsho for me
  7. It is not launch angle. 2022 you could point to launch angle. He corrected that this season and his launch angle is back to his 2021 norm. As for his batted ball frequency profile, he’s the same guy he’s always been. His average launch angle was 9.4 degrees in 2021, it’s 9.5 degrees now. Rest of the article here, (interesting read) one of the best I've read on the mystery that is Vladdy G. It is behind a paywall so I will post here. Formatting might be a bit wonky.
  8. I like Vladdy. Always have. He probably has a great personality and is decent in the clubhouse no doubt. His underachievement just leaves a bad taste in everyones mouth. Pity.
  9. Mookie Lynn Betts has a baseball iq off the charts. Vladdy is on the wrong side of the iq bell curve unfortunately.
  10. Vladdy's swing is all hands, no torque from the hips/legs. This guy has to get in shape. Unlike the Babe who uses everything he has physically to drive the ball.
  11. Chad Green touching 97!!! Can we score some fvcking runs please?!?
  12. Who knows at this point? Either way it aint good.
  13. Miller is a stud on team of scrubs.
  14. I guess JS doesn't subscribe to the concept of traditional middle/long relief. Like everyone is basically limited to an inning or 3-5 batters. Wouldn't using someone like Bowden Francis to come in behind Ryu for multiple innings be the way to go? His stuff would play well following Ryu.
  15. Ryu giving us a competitive five innings every time out is something. This time last year I thought he would never pitch for the Jays (or anyone) again. Glad he's back, especially considering the way our Cy Young candidate turned out this season.
  16. Only with a runner on first and less than two outs.
