    Valenzuela is a big reason why this team isn’t in a much bigger hole at this point in the Season. Deserves Team MVP votes for the first half. Vlad should be ashamed at himself every day he steps foot in the ballpark making as much as he does.

    He will most likely be claimed. But they have another Catcher on the 40-man roster in Willie MacIver who will be the next in line. But the thing about Heineman is he has been re-acquired twice before. So if they want him back a good chance they can bring him back.

    Fluharty is a loggy through and through.

    I mean yes does Hoffman get unlucky yes. But he's also missing his spots consistently thats why he gets hit so hard when they don't swing and miss. He had Alonzo set up for a high fastball and he threw the ball exactly where Alonzo likes to drive it.

    Awful pitch by Hoffman. I don't know why Miles needed to be pulled in that situation.

    Letting Valenzuela still catch 3 times a week with Kirk DHing more than normal might be a good idea. Especially if Springer isn't going to get going soon.

    Yea that would be massively criticized move if they demoted him. He's literally tied for second on the team in Homeruns and has done really well both framing and throwing the ball despite the errors. The only defensive metric he's below average at is blocks and we have to keep in mind he's catching a lot of Pitchers he doesn't have a lot of experience Catching.

    At least Blaze Alexander has a job lined up at Global Gym if this Baseball thing doesn't work out for him.

    Valenzuela deserves a lot more credit for what he's given us this Season. Imagine if Tyler Heinemen was Catching 5 days a week this entire time Kirk has been out.
