    Obviously Grass. Would love to see them open the Stadium up a bit. Improve fan experience. Blow the roof off once the grass is installed. But really I don't understand why they are renovating that place over building a new stadium. Its prime location but that's just about the only thing it has. I will trust the process though and see Shapiro's vision for the cement dump.

    I have to assume an exception will be put in place. This hurts the Japanese team and the player. Now he waits and the Japanese team could get nothing.

    Players agreed on that from bitterness about Cuban and Japanese player being rich from go while everyone else needs to go through a 6-year process. But yes it sucks.

    Huh? It only has upside. Sure teams could find ways to take advantage of it by why not. It's only better when teams are actually at full strength. Sometimes you have to wait several days before you can determine a players injury. Now a team has less fear using the DL knowing they won't be without that player for 2 weeks. How many times last year did we have a short bench because they didn't want to put players on the DL.

    AP Sports reporting it and has been retweeted by several Baseball people so I have reason to believe its legit. Also the DL time has been adjusted from a minimum of 15 days to 10 days. Awesome news!

    I wonder if after Cespedes signed Houston just offered something the Jays wouldn't match. Seems odd shortly after his agent said the Blue Jays were showing him the most love that rumours are suggesting he could sign with the Astros as early as today. If the money was similar you would think Edwin would choose to come back here. It will be interesting to see what the contract looks like. After the Cespedes deal his 4 years 80 million offer looks phenomenal. I thought if any free agent hitter could get 5 years it was Cespedes. The average annual seems about right though.

    Edwin and Cespedes are not comparable at all. If Cespedes tore his knee up and could only DH maybe.

    Depends on the prospects. Bruce is s***. I wouldn't say he has the upside of Liriano turning it around. Bruce is what he is.
