Martin's BABIP is pretty telling. He's striking out to much but gets absolutely zero luck on balls put in play. -

I'm not as upset as I thought I would be. It sucks but I kinda saw it coming. Not to this extent but it was difficult coming out a Spring Training with much confidence. The off-season really sucked and felt incomplete. A rebuild is probably best. The casuals will now be consumed with the Maple Leafs anyway. -

I'm not. I wanted the draft pick. I do however have very little confidence he can stay healthy and play RF for a full season. With the platoon bats available along with the value of the draft pick. I wasn't a fan of the move.

Re-evaluate in June when he's still hitting lead off. The double today cemented his spot.

I wish we let Bautista sign with whoever else actually wanted to sign him. Decent platoon options were available to the Blue Jays. 3 first round picks would have been wonderful.

Those all red jerseys are cringy as f***. I love Canada but those are so unnecessary. I'm cool with Canada day jerseys but otherwise f*** off. You don't need to go over the top on Canada to get people from Canada other than Toronto to cheer for the Blue Jays.
