    Surely we can do better than Navarro... I mean the Nats just cut Derek Norris in Spring for nothing. Surely if we offered something half way decent we could net a decent backup who can play defence. Gotta be some guys around the league who plays sparingly or are stuck in AAA with good framing numbers and a strong arm. I wouldn't even want to touch Navarro. He was grossly overweight while playing. Imagine what he looks like now sitting on his ass for 8 months.

    For most guys playing out of position and making movements you normally wouldn't may increase your injury risk. But with how athletic and flexible Martin is I doubt that applies to him. Hes in incredible shape. And hes even lighter this season. I still don't like the move because Martin was paid a s*** load to be an excellent catcher. I really don't understand why we employee Salty. If your backup catcher can't hit atleast get one who isn't a complete drop off the table defensively.

    Outside of the fact that he can't move probably not. Apparently Morales has a strong arm. Guarantee he makes smarter throwing decisions as well. It's amazing how many runners have advanced this season on Zeke's throwing decisions alone.

    If Salty strikes out 3 times again just release him please. That lineup is so f***ing gross. Watch Gibby put Morales in LF to get Smoak's bat in the lineup tomorrow.
