Well if Travis really is out for the rest of the season. I really hope management isn't content with a Goins/Barney platoon because that would be aids. Either give Leblebijian a shot or trade for a veteran who doesn't swing a wet noodle.

Smoak is hot. May as well take advantage of it. Bautista is fine in the cleanup spot. Move also spreads out the switch hitters and slugs.

That won't help. He will just struggle in the second inning as he tries to feel his way into the game. It's not like he's the only pitcher who struggles early in games for similar reasons.
