  1. Yankees have made some incredible trades. Definitely would like to take a page out of that playbook. Have to credit the player development staff for actually turning Hicks and Didi into good hitters. While finding Castro's stroke again
  2. Here's hoping Vlady Jr takes full advantage of the high performance program to rid himself of the bad body label. He's so young I believe he can do it.
  3. I didn't say it was a bad thing. If you feel a player(s) should be ranked significantly higher. Don't let former lists be a guide for how high you can rank them. I like it.
  4. Baseball America is quite aggressive.
  5. This makes me so happy for so many reasons.
  6. He's definitely not a black hole. We don't need to move him, and we certainly don't need to move him just to dump him. Valuable guy to have especially when he will be key in helping transition his replacement in 2 years. Which looks at this point could be Dany Jansen.
  7. Wel ideally yes but this is the second consecutive season we don't have impact prospects just sitting in AAA or AA waiting for an opurtunity. Some of those pitchers in AA may come up. But they have been so inconsistent. Plus our roster is so old. We are forced to wait for the next wave of prospects to roll in from the low minors. You trade veteran players to add to a talented prospects pool and you can hope they can develop and come up together. And hopefully some of those prospects you acquire are closer to the big leagues ready to contribute. Rebuilding on the fly only works if you have a great farm system stocked up at every level. So you can pipe in players constantly. If someone gets hurt for us we are forced to use an organizational type or a castaway veteran. A team like the Yankees have been able to plug in young players with tremendous upside. If it wasn't for injuries they could have even more young talent on that roster.
  8. My hope is 1 or 2 of those starters get ruled ineligible so Osuna gets rewarded a spot. It's suprising to me how few relievers their are. Maybe I'm crazy but I'm almost postive they used fewer roster spots this year.
  9. Osuna works a third straight day good thing he only threw 9 pitches.
  10. Agree on the first part. Martin's value is limited with his contract. But if you look at everything but batting average where he really has terrible luck he's having a good season. Despite some injury setbacks. His off-season workout program has worked extremely well for him. His legs have been healthy all year. Just that shoulder and neck issue.
  11. Well deserved for both of them. The explanation for why it took so long to promote was reasonable. They wanted to give them a full 3 months to face the same pitchers and make the adjustments necessary. Bo just kept getting better. Vladdy hung in and is starting to get a hot again with a power surge. Now they can finish the year in Dunedin. And the Blue Jays can make the decision to start them in AA next year. Or give them another full 3 months in Dunedin including this year. I love it.
  12. His line wasn't spectacular but holding the Astros down like that definitely bolds well for him being a moveable piece. Especially if he has a nice July.
  13. He's the least of my concerns. How are we going to record 27 outs against that ridiculous offence. Lots of ugly ERA's and roster moves on the way.
  14. Donaldson is a fake MVP anyway. Trout should have won.
  15. I always enjoy New York, New York more after a Yankees loss.
  16. Of course that would sneak through bringing Judge up.
  17. If they perform well in July. They all have value. We won't get nearly the return we thought we would get though and that's disappointing. Estrada looked amazing through May.
  18. Don't play the small sample size song *******. Shits brutal and you know it.
  19. Traditionally this team likes to trade for massive contracts giving up assets!
  20. That's his career numbers. f***ing brutal.
  21. How do you hit .133 with the bases loaded lol. That shouldn't be possible.
  22. 18 balls and 9 strikes and 4 or 5 of the "strikes" were probably generous.
  23. That one was actually probably a strike.
