    Medical was one side of the story. Blue Jays would have signed him at a lesser dollar figure. Plus he never had health problems in college. He seemed to be one of the safest bets in this draft. Him dropping was a huge shock. He was ranked #1 going into the year. Hes not the first junior pitcher to go back for his senior year because he didn’t get what he wants.

    I can’t see any new posts since 3pm. I actually have to look inside threads to see new posts. Board is extremely bugged.

    Singer could want to go back for his senior season. He was pretty firm on going to college when we drafted him out of High School. Unless he gets the number he wants he probably said he will go back to school. Who really knows though. You would think we would have heard about a medical issue by now.

    I love Jordan Groshans swing. Hes huge as well 6’4 with smoth actions.

    Blue Jays have become more frustrating to watch draft than the Raptors. I don’t know how you don’t go Singer unless he’s hurt.

    Perhaps its time for a new board all together. This seems royally f***ed. It will probably be a couple hours before this post even shows up.

    If thats the case with the fastball inconsistency I may feel different. But from everything I have read on him he has elite stuff. I would rather take my chances on a guy big arm and trust in coach's and player development staff to improve him mechanics. Rather then to draft another ''safe'' college arm whose ceiling at best might be a mid rotation starter and they never end up in the back end of rotation. See Chad Jenkins, Deck McGuire, and Jon Harris. The only college arm in the first round that has actually worked out for us in recent memory is Marcus Stroman.

    The idea of trading Happ sooner rather than later is great. But when the trade deadline comes and teams need to make upgrades. They get swayed into making a better offer because they are under pressure to make a decision and depending on the player are almost in competition for his services. If you feel like you could get a great offer you like now pull the trigger. If not wait for that one team who desperately wants to make the playoffs come in and blow your socks off.

    I think the real question is why did this become a misconception? I was under the impression it didn't for several years. Is something that changed or has it always been this way?

    Yup will probably draft Ryan Rolison with his elite poise.

    I am still holding out hope that Shane McClanahan drops to us.

    Granderson will be playing everyday against RHP until hes traded July 31st.

    I don't care how good he could be at Baseball. I don't want this dude on my team. I don't see what this girl had to gain from exposing him if it wasn't the truth. This happened before he was a star Baseball player and had a lot of money to his name. If she wanted to ruin his life she could have waited until he was drafted and signed his bonus than came forward. He was a kid as well but he was old enough to know better. And people who can't control urges are scary people. I believe he didn't have any intention to hurt her. But I do believe the creep did it 100 percent. We're mostly all guys here. We know what we are like at that age. Some people find normal ways to deal with it. Some do the unthinkable. He f***ed his own life. Nobody is going to be crying for him.

    That's never going to happen. Nobody would want him if he was hitting .280 with 12 homeruns right now. He can only DH which limits him to 15 teams and not many teams are aggressively pursuing DH only bats with no speed. Plus one making big money when a superior player like Adam Lind who can play 1B just signed a minor league contract for the second time this year. We would have to eat his entire salary and we would still only be looking at a couple suitors none of which would give up anything. Our best hope is Morales starts running into some balls most consistently.

    Nah nobody needs prizes. Just a much better server so we can use this site without getting angry. For how poorly this server runs you may as well just get a free forum.

    I would think only the Vlad thing will happen and perhaps sooner. JD will be moved unless hes injured. Gibbons won't get fired during the season but probably a good chance he does in the off-season.
