    Hopefully they just suspend him for the rest of the season and let him start fresh next year. No reason to have it drag into next year.

    With Smoak's cheap options I thought moving him last year made a lot of sense as well. But the First Base market is never in high demand anymore. So even with his All-Star first half last year. Teams wouldn't buy high on him. The Blue Jays definitely missed the boat on Donaldson though. I thought a lot of things would have to break right this year for this team to be competitive. But even on paper going into the year we were expected to be in the Wild Card mix. Its not even July and we are well out of any kind of playoff race.

    Even if Danner doesn't ultimately hit. His transition back to the mound shouldn't be all that difficult. And he was touted even more highly as a pitcher.

    Happ should have never started the 9th with his pinch count. He had already gave 8 strong innings. We need to keep is line looking sexy.

    We aren't locked into the Yankees or Mariners. Tons of contending teams will want Happ at the deadline lol. Yankees are going to need to move one of their top prospects to upgrade their rotation plain and simple. Starting pitching is in high demand.

    I don’t think you can be afraid to trade with anyone. Ultimately you just take the best offer. And I trust the front office enough to do that regardless the team.

    Either Happ or Solarte is going to the All-Star game. Wouldn’t be shocked if Happ got traded around that time though. Hes going to be in high demand. Yankees might be the best fit.
