    I think they should trade him if they get a good return. You definitely don't give him an extension. First Baseman have next to no value on the open market unless you're Eric Hosmer apparently. Either you get your best return now or you just play it out year to year with him.

    I don't really care about the idiot fans though and neither does Shapiro. I am spit balling here but Bird has never stayed healthy and although hes hit better recently hes not exactly Mr. Reliable. Maybe a combination of Happ and Smoak with us covering Happ's salary would get us a really nice prospect return. And that's what I care about. When Smoak's contract is done its when we may start being competitive again. So I don't really care where hes playing in the mean time.

    I don't understand why Garcia didn't start this game. Hes the only one that hasn't been complete dog s*** either.

    I hope they stay together in New Hampshire and win a championship. Or go to Buffalo together if they must. I really hope they don’t waste any of Vlad’s service time on this train wreck of a season.

    Smoak seems like a perfect fit for the Yankees.

    As soon as I heard bullpen day I knew this game was going to be embarassing. We have 3 good relievers on the roster.

    Mayza was awful. Disapointing that he hasn’t took advantage of his opurtunties to be an impact reliever. Still a lot of intrugue though.

    Chris Rowley claimed off waivers by Texas. We never have to see that junk baller again.

    He can speak English but some of the Latin players don’t like fumbling over English on Live TV and I don’t blame them.

    Probably they have to add him to the 40-man in the off-season anyway. Makes sense he gets starts this year especially when Happ gets traded.

    I love LGJ’s upside but for a family that’s life is nothing but Baseball he has raw Baseball insticts. I guess nobody can accuse of him of not playing hard. Hes all out agressive.

    They can't wait until they can trade Stroman. Problem is he needs to pitch well first. I would love if he was moved at the Deadline. Rockies seem like a fit.

    Matt Carpenter went beast mode. 5-5 3 homeruns, 2 Doubles, 4 runs scored, and 7 RBI by the 6th inning. And they took him out in the 6th.

    I like the defined role of your best reliever facing the toughest part of the lineup. I would hope if were facing 2,3,4 Osuna would be pitching the 8th in 2018.
