I think it will be combination of Oh and Clippard. Tepera is at risk to lose his setup role. And out of 3 is best suited for a multi-inning role. I think Oh will get the first shot just because of his experience. Hes already got the only other save appearance we had in the 9th when Osuna wasn't available.
And as a result would have to trade him for pennies on the dollar. Considering how much we could have got for Osuna if we traded him in the off-season or even the previous off-season is frustrating. I honestly thought we should have traded him just because of his value and relievers often flaming out. Plus his fastball has been up and down in every appearance the last 2 years. Just this year alone we have seen him at 92-94 and at times he was 95-97. Even touched 98 this year.
I would like to give Osuna the benefit because everything we have seen from him is mostly awesome and seems like a good guy. But we really don't know the players personally. I am still hoping its just a crazy girlfriend trying to f*** with him. But it doesn't look good.
They can get away with it now because hes only been in AA for over a month and they have already pushed him along in the system aggressively so its a good look. But anyone thinks if he continues to destroy Baseballs like this and not call him up until May or June next year without serious backlash they have another thing coming.
The best way to retain Vlad would be keeping him and his agent as happy as possible.
If I was the Blue Jays I would invest in a nutritionist, personal chef, and personal trainer just for him. They can cook all his Dominican favourites just healthy.
I am going to stick with what I said about this subject before. If we are competitive I think will see him in August maybe even July after the Futures Game. I absolutely think if healthy he will be up in September no matter what though.
Thank you for posting. And to be honest most of this is noticeable just watching the games. We have found a lot of gloves on hard hit balls. Especially LGJ and Pearce.
Rarely do you ever see breaking balls at the very top of the strike zone get called and the zone was extremely all day. That’s just s*****. Don’t blame Teo for taking that.
I didn’t think it was possible for umpiring to get worse. But wow it doesn’t matter where a pitch is in the strike zone if the catcher doesn’t catch it. Its a ball apparently.
