    My thoughts exactly. Now hopefully we can acquire some more intriguing lottery tickets for our veteran free agents to be. I was actually kind of hoping to trade Tepera to the Astros for a nice return before he got bombed by the White Sox

    Gilies can come up and be the closer for 2 months and than flip him in the off-season if all goes well. Hes got shelled since being demoted to Triple-A though but his issues appear to be more mental than anything.

    The Jays front office should have traded Osuna last off-season though. When you projected out the next 3 years and knowing you wouldn't be competitive that was your time to sell a reliever at an all time high. Will see how they did though. I just can't believe they would have traded Osuna with that much control for something that didn't intrigue them significantly. Unless as others mentioned the Blue Jays know more about the assault or Rogers interfered.

    The only thing mentioned has been been Giles plus. Nobody has even speculated on the other prospects coming back.

    Giles might ultimately be very good. But his value was massacred so I am expecting at least something legit.

    Giles has 2 years of control and hes actually not bad plus throws 100 MPH. But f*** we better get a good prospect

    The Osuna stuff sounds like speculation to me. I am sure the Blue Jays would deal him if someone is willing to pay a premium for him but actively shopping him before reestablishing is value doesn't really make any sense to me. Plus he has to come back to the big leagues and perform while his court stuff might not even be settled in the foreseeable future. That's a lot to deal with for a team to acquire him and deal with. I just don't see any scenario where that happens. All those vet relievers and expiring contracts need to go though. Would lovely if someone took Solarte as well. I guess Drury would see some playing time in the OF once Granderson is moved.

    I'm all for it. If you have someone like a Yadi that you feel can do it well while still performing you know all the players are going to respect you more because not only are you calling the shots but you're playing with them trying to win. It would probably just mean the bench coach would have more responsibility. He would likely be the one making the pitching changes why Yadi is catching. It would probably be something he would do at the tail end of his career I would imagine though.

    Jesus Christ this s*** is getting out of hand. A lot of these tweets I'm reading are song lyrics anyway. The one where Newcomb said he was on his Donald Trump s*** was one of Mac Miller's first singles before Trump got close to being President and people actually kind of liked him on The Apprentice. Every MLB player should have their agent hire an intern to scrub these social media accounts for any bad tweets immediately though. Every person born before the year 2000 has called someone a fag whether it was at school or someone cutting them off on the road. Shits just stupid. Is calling someone a Cock Sucker a gay offensive term because I don't know if I can let that one go.
