What does QC mean? Do you mean Qualifying Offer? I don't believe Happ has been offered one. He was traded at the deadline last time he was due to be a free agent. So I believe we could.

I don't think that's true. Some GM's like Cashman will be extremely reluctant. But one team will always swoop in and offer the most to get something done. Yankees aren't getting Machado without a top prospect going back its not happening. And we definitely won't get Frazier for Happ but another team will swoop in and give us a pretty good prospect. Provided he doesn't continue to implode in July.

Probably to be honest. But Donaldson isn't getting traded at this point. Hes getting qualified which is pretty depressing to say but maybe he will accept and have a huge 2019. -

That man needs to escape Coors Field so badly. He was on pace to strike out 200+ easily this year but have an ERA approach 6 with an excellent straight out to walk ratio. He would be pitching well... dominating even than a couple bloops happen and he gives up that back breaking Coors Field Homerun.

Oh and Clippard have been rolling lately. Both will likely get traded in a few weeks. Lets hope Axford puts together a quality few weeks as well.

Happ's start against the Red Sox is critical in his return price. I mean having 3 bad starts in a row would be disastrous in itself. But if the Yankees want him hes gotta prove he can pitch against the team they are competing with. I can definitely see trading Steve Pearce to the Red Sox early will ultimately f*** us over in the end lol. I can already picture the Grand Slam.

God I hope not. The Jays have a golden opportunity to hold him down in Triple-A next year until April 15th to secure that extra year. The injury was a gift in disguise. He didn't have to have service time wasted in a lost year.

This is an extremely common case in Canada. Hes not going to jail if hes convicted. He will get community service and anger management at best. Possibly house arrest but people are allowed to work under house arrest. His job is playing Baseball so he would continue to do that. Whatever happens between now and than will not delay his return. The only thing that would do that is if he does something else stupid or gets hurt.

ETA 2022... Seems like a life time away and than you realise its 2018 and that's only 3 and half years away.
