    Same Aaron Blanchez we have seen earlier in the year. They need to move him back to the pen. So his fastball plays up and he can throw it 80% of the time and use his curve for strikeouts.

    It's not stupid if you don't believe he can stay on the field. They just paid him $23M to miss 80 percent of the season. I don't think they want to do that again just for the off chance they might acquire a compensation pick or recoup his trade value if he decides to stay. If Donaldson has health questions teams aren't going to be lining up to offer him multiyear deals. Hes going to be 33 years old with his best years behind him.

    No I don't think being sent to AAA is more demoralising. I would think having 3 or 4 guys move past you on the depth chart and you pitching in low leverage roles would bug the s*** out of someone. I know it would bug the s*** out of me. At least with the demotion you can get away from the team for 10 days and clear your mind. It could definitely have a placebo effect. When you're giving up runs and you're frustrated. Being told you're just getting unlucky isn't helping you. You're still pissed off you're giving up runs. He will be back September 1st no matter what so why not try it.
