  1. Buck and Dan overthinking this a little bit lol. You know its been a boring game when.
  2. I hope Vlad’s getting an at-bat in this inning.
  3. Damn that kid almost got smoked lol
  4. You mean Rajai Davis and yes he would be technically the guy. Although I really saw him more as platoon player over an everyday guy. He basically did play everyday at times out of pure necessity. In terms of true everyday players you would have to go all the way back to a young Alex Rios. Or back even further to Shannon Stewart. Stolen Bases is not a big part of our history.
  5. They are definitely being cautious with Vlad. Maybe its a subtle jab at his weight. Its seems like the notion that they are unhappy with his weight is gathering steam a little bit. Ultimately they can only do so much. If Vlad wants to get in shape that will have to be his choice to make. Same goes for anyone dieting. Anyone over weight acknowledges they are fat and probably should lose weight but you have to really want to do it themselves in order for it to happen. The Blue Jays can't tell him to be at a certain weight in order to play. First of all in 2019 the Jays would be eaten alive for fat shaming and would be a PR nightmare. And second of all pissing him off is a bad idea to keep him long term. However something the Blue Jays can suggest is if he wants to realistically stay at Third Base he will have to be in better shape. Does he care about playing Third Base or would he would be content with being a 1B/DH. From what I understand he really wants to play Third Base and The Blue Jays can absolutely use that as leverage to get him in shape.
  6. Bo is 1/4 in stolen bases so far. I think hes been a bit unlucky but that's been pretty shocking development so far. I was lucky forward to having an everyday player with the ability to steal 25+ bases again. It seems like its been a decade or more since we have had a speed threat that wasn't a role player.
  7. The running would be good for him. Maybe he can just do some sprinting instead.
  8. Joe Sidal said it on Blue Jays Central earlier in the week.
  9. Blue Jays cornering the market on fatties.
  10. I would all about bringing in Moose to play third base. But I doubt the end the Vladdy at third base experiment until they expect to be more competitive. Expect him to get another full season at third next year and make a decision after that. Apparently they are trying to convince Vlad to spend his winter in Florida so they can work with him on his training and diet habits. Lets hope that happens.
  11. Can they just shut down Giles for the rest of the year at this point. Just rest him until next Spring and hope is elbow holds up to the trade deadline.
  12. Maybin at DH seems so weird to me. You would think the main reason to have him in the lineup would be based on athleticism.
  13. This ump is f***ing atrocious
  14. Doing this off Adam Ottomatic is impressive as well.
  15. Baseball is a funny game. He destroys a Baseball and ends up with a single. And than he gets a piece of the ball and barely keeps it fair and ends up on third base lol.
  16. Yankees keep finding them don’t they.
  17. Jesus Christ that ball was destroyed
  18. Jesus I don’t know if I have seen a SS go that far into the OF to make an over the shoulder catch before.
  19. Font has been pretty decent. Plenty of control. Good pickup.
  20. Yankees bout to get that Waguescock
  21. He just recently got back to playing again in AAA. We see him September would be surprised to see him sooner I guess that would depend on how long LGJ is actually out. Still would think McKinney is ahead of him on the depth chart.
  22. Minor League Numbers don’t matter. Just because he ultimately gave up 4 earned runs doesn’t mean they are going to dismiss his great outing up to that point.
