    Travis was up and we had first and third. No reason to make that gamble whatsoever. If that was Drury, Panik, Espinal, Jansen, or McGuire maybe you make that gamble but not with your 3-hole up.

    He was never going to throw 100+ pitches especially after a 30 pitch inning and facing the top of the order. I don’t even disagree with this decision. What really hurts is not letting Shoemaker pitch deeper last night because the Jays don’t have their best relievers tonight.

    My entire point was on this basis that he would be easier to acquire than normal. I have no idea why you’re having such a difficult time comprehending what I’m saying lol. You have completely assumed the vast majority of what you just brought up. You seem to think that this situation won’t effect Clevinger‘s trade value or availability and I think the opposite. You have somehow created an entirely different narrative.

    We kinda need Ryu to go 6 or 7 innings tonight. Half the bullpen can’t be available. If there was a time to push Ryu its tonight.

    You need to get it out of your head that I said any of that lol. All I have said is that his value will not be the same if the relationship soured that much. And as soon as they decide to cost him a year of service that relationships going to take another negative turn. Not once did I suggest other teams won’t compete for him or this is only a Blue Jays scenario of stealing him. The fact that he would even be available right now is a consequence of this situation. You’re really getting all worked up about nothing.

    You gotta consider the entire team is different. Hell until Alford was DFA’d he was longest serving Jay and he still classified as a rookie.

    I disagree I think they are the worst jerseys out of all of them. But they are fine. Atleast not the Black Jays. The players don’t seem to like them either.

    That’s not really things work. Cleveland can’t just hoard him without consequences. If they want to hold his value they better swallow their pride and call him up as soon as he’s eligible.

    It’s definitely a winning record. They wore the road greys 90% of the time until they got to Buffalo. Now they have only worn the road greys once and the home whites twice. Otherwise its been all new Blue. The navy ones have only been worn once this year as well.

    Not if he refuses to pitch for them after robbing him of a year of service. That’s not going to go over well with the Players Association either.

    If the fallout is that severe it won’t cost nearly that much. That would be driving force behind making that deal. I actually think its kind of BS what Cleveland is doing. Sure he f***ed up and deserved punishment. I don’t think he belongs in purgatory and lose a year of service. That’s a bit extreme. Suck it up and give him a second chance or f*** off. I’d ask for trade if I was him just to f*** them over more at that point
