The only thing I’m annoyed with is how we gave all this money for mediocre pitching money after overpaying for Ryu who is atleast good. But with the Pandemic will they now be unable to spend as freely to upgrade where needed or is spending going to be down now as a result. Roark’s contract was bad the moment pen met paper but he was atleast suppose to be a serviceable innings eater. No idea how he got 12 million in a second year that wasn’t an option.

Honestly yes because the road team can set the bar for how many runs need to be scored. You have to factor the demoralizing factor into the equation when looking at it as well because the Blue Jays dugout went from a party to looking like someone died. I don’t think the 10th inning rule should stick at all. Atleast move it to the start of the 12th or something. I don’t think it’s fair for many reasons. What about where you are in the batting order. Its kinda BS if one team is in the middle of the lineup and other team is at the bottom. You should be able to choose the base runner and realign the batting order. -
I wasn’t alive yet when he threw those but yes him as well. Although he did end up getting his no hitter.

Borucki seems perfect in the bullpen. Wouldn’t consider a move back to the rotation for him. Last thing we need to do is try to strech him out in the hope he can be at best a solid backend starter when he can be a potentially dominant reliever. If they didn’t have any other options maybe you make that decision but the minor league depth is starting to look promising.

I don’t like bunting but all things considered of all the decisions made by Puntoyo the bunt in that situation was far from the worse one. Jansen has been pretty awful at the plate and he got it down without issue. -
