    Another reason you can’t give up on Teo as an Outfielder and just make him a DH. Sprint speed and arm strength. Just help him get better out there. Jose Bautista was a pretty s***** RF as well. He didn’t hurt us on those winning teams.

    I’m so glad Charlie pulls Starting Pitchers early that are actually pitching well. Only so he can tax the bullpen to the point that Starters pitching bad have to stay in to save the bullpen!

    Yes because it’s retroactive to when he was originally added to the DL. Which was 40 days ago believe it or not. He was transferred to the 45-man DL List so they can temporarily open up a roster spot. They didn’t want to make a 40-man roster move today and lose someone before they have to

    We don’t seem to hit the Red Sox garbage pitching. Need all the help we can get.

    Giles is eligible to be activated next Friday. Doesn’t’ change his time table. They placed him on the 45 day list so they didn’t have to make a 40-man roster move. This buys them another week before they have to remove someone from the 40.

    Biggio probably needs a day off he’s been scuffling a bit and striking out a lot more. Although a few of them have been some ******** calls looking. He should still pinch hit in this game. No idea what the deal with Gurriel is hes been in and out of the lineup quite a bit this season.

    Drury even being tendered a contract this past winter was bizarre to me. He seemed like a slam dunk DFA option. I keep looking at his advanced numbers trying to figure out what they saw in him but I’m drawing a blank. Maybe there was 3 or 4 years ago but certainly not in the past 2 years.

    I don’t think McGuire is a useless asset going forward but between the inconsistent at-bats and the mental mistakes he has clearly lost confidence. Sending him to Rochester to get some of that back might not be a bad idea and just get Caleb Joseph on the 40 and have him back up and play sparingly behind Jansen. Leave Kirk on the taxi squad but full on send McGuire out. We all want to see Kirk but he has not played above A-Ball not sure you can just throw him into the September fire especially if he might only play once a week.

    Fisher is really squandering his chances of getting more playing time. That was a horrible at-bat.

    No doubt Friedman was probably doing back flips. Knowing he got a high ceiling arm for a guy he was planning to use as swing man.

    I hope and expect good things from Stripling but can’t help but to feel terrified trading intriguing prospects to the Dodgers. They just rarely make mistakes. Especially considering it happened so late meaning one side literally caved on the asking price and that was probably Atkins reluctantly giving up Williams.

    That unreal catch by Bradley which should have ended this game in a blowout has lit a fire in the Red Sox. 4 straight hits against a guy that looked nearly untouchable. That bull s*** call on Biggio really hurts now.
