Thats a play that needs to be made. -
Yup his last start of the Season. I think they will let him air it out over going to the tired pen before they have to. The only chance he can come back and pitch in this series is if it goes 7 where he would probably come out of the pen.

Doesn't seem like anyone is warming up for the Dodgers. So I fully expect to see Ohtani in the 7th.

Ok Shane Bieber. You showed your worth right there. You got in any trouble I think JS comes and gets you. Now you can pitch into the 6th.

Dodgers fans are certainly relaxed. Its like they just expect good things to happen eventually. Must be nice.

Doesn't look like Bieber is going to go deep tonight. Really think they should abandon any plan of Trey Yesavage pitching tomorrow and use him tonight out of the pen for 3 of 4 innings if not longer. This is a must win game. You have Gausman who will plenty of rest pitch to keep your season alive in Game 5. But if they lose tonight everything is bleak anyway. Don't think you can go to the Bullpen for another 6 innings tonight.

Something Ohtani doesn't have is great command. The gameplan should be to make him work and get back into the pen thats tired.
