I’m very confused why they brought up Otto Lopez from Double-A for one pinch hit at-bat only to option him right down. He could arguably do eveything better than Valera and play more positions.

The dumbest managerial decision of this inning wasn’t Charlie’s. It was La Russa not using Kimbrel for the top of the Jays lineup. But I digress.

Montoyo likes Valera way to much. I think because he found someone uglier than himself and needs to give him air time to look better. I will take the base hit tho!

Yea lol… The biggest obstacle to bringing back Semien might be a team willing to give him a Shortstop job. Jays might offer him the most but can’t offer him a Shortstop job which is his preference.

If we could eat some of his salary and get a half decent middle reliever out of it I would be pretty thrilled at this point.

I doubt we’re touching 5 or 6 but if he gets that from somebody good for him. He went from walking everybody to walking nobody. Its insane how much of a different pitcher he is without losing any of the swing and miss.
