I’m fine with Biggio next season at Second Base and hitting 9th if it means they can’t resign Semien. But they would need to substantially upgrade Third Base. A Jose Ramirez or Josh Donaldson type impact bat. -
I think they have a chance to have a way more complete team next season. Also not ruling out the return of one if not both of them. So many little things could have altered this season trajectory. Mainly the bullpen. But they also really need some on base guys. Atleast one at the top of the order. Preferably a Left-Handed hitter. I’m eyeing up Kyle Schwarber. He’s the perfect fit. Rotate Vlad, Gurriel, and Schwarbs around 1B, LF, and DH. Dump Grichuk anywhere. Eat some of his money just to get him off the roster. Maybe you can turn him into a half decent reliever.
