    Honestly I see what people are saying but not sure if Greg Bird is the hilll to die on. The Jays bench has been ass for a better part of a decade. Even the playoffs teams had s*** benches. It would be nice to have a guy you can bring in and go yard or slot into your lineup and not think twice about it like the Dodgers. Instead we found the American Munenori Kawasaki in Katoh or whatever the f*** his name is. I’m sure his tight pants will be good for team morale I guess.

    It sucks having 3 relievers that I would only like to see in low leverage rolls. Merryweather has some upside at least but he’s either looked very good or very bad. Thornton and Saucedo are always bad. I was shocked when Thornton was tendered a contract

    Florida is a college town give him some credit. They were atleast Freshman. Mono definitely went through my University one year lol.

    They released him August but I believe they repicked him up.

    This Front Office refuses to have multiple left-handed hitters in the lineup.

    Pretty easy decision. They weren’t going to start the season with 3 Catchers and McGuire was the odd man out. They thought he would get claimed so they picked up a catcher they are free to move up and down when needed.

    Seems like he would prefer to stay in Cleveland but would need to take a sweetheart extension to stay. They don’t appear able to meet his market price. Great players want to stay but cheap ass owners are unwilling to pay. The saddest thing about this game.

    Ehhhh fair. I just think he’s going to absolutely suck but hoping to be wrong. He’s been extremely unimpressive so far.

    I wonder how long it will take Pearson to replace Kikuchi in the rotation.

    I mean he could still get fired if the team under performs. Not that worried about it. If it was a 5-year extension I would have been worried.

    White Sox did well here I think.

    I always liked Dexter Fowler. High on base guy his whole career. If he can prove to be healthy might be a pretty good pickup.

    I honestly want to think this could be the first Blue Jays to win 100+ games but the bullpen remains a massive question mark. I trust maybe four guys.

    Biggio leads the team in steals and doubles. Danny Jansen hits 20 Homeruns Vladdy wins a Gold Glove at First Base Matt Chapman leads the team in Homerun George Springer plays in 155 games Teo wins the Silver Slugger in RF Ryu bounces back and makes the AL All-Star Team Jordan Romano leads the AL in Saves Nate Pearson starts the year in the pen but emerges as one of the Jays best starters and starts Game 2 of the ALDS

    For all we know he might be the classiest dude in the world and let the girl hide so she didn’t get shamed for giving head in public. People are so quick to judge.

    I didn’t know that detail when I reacted. If that’s true that’s pretty outrageous. I would be fine with a lengthy suspension.

    I feel people are getting overly stressed by a 4th Outfielder. If one of our main Outfielders gets hurt it will suck regardless. Grichuk was not a good player. They tinkered with his swing and approach for 3 years. It didn’t work. He actually got worse. Let them get Taipa in and see what they can do with him. They can start with changing his abysmal launch angle and go from there.

    Lets hope people don’t try to chase Pete Walker out of town. Ultimately what he did was stupid and I would like to hear the context of the situation. But he’s very good at what he does and hes not exactly replaceable at the moment. I know people who have got DUI’s Saturday morning after trying to sleep off a Drunk Friday Night. I don’t feel people who actually attempt to not drive drunk but can still blow over should be held to the same standard of people who just jump into their cars piss hammered. I see more cops first thing weekend mornings than I do at night. They know exactly what they are doing.

    I don’t know how a great thing like trading Randal Grichuk turned into such a dumpster fire of a thread. f*** the internet. Its a lost cause.

    Hopefully sooner rather than later. Bullpen also really needs more swing and miss.

    I still really think this team could use another reliever or 2. But this front office has consistently not spent money on the bullpen. Kenley Jansen to a big one year deal is the type of deal I wanted to see.

    Have we ruled out them just cutting him? Or flipping him. I assume he needed to be in the trade to offset some salary. I doubt they wanted him. Sure they could use him but that doesn’t mean they want him.

    Just happy he’s gone. He was tough to cheer for. Actually something interesting in return as well is fantastic. I thought they would just have to eat all of that money.
