    Both of those guys have been completely fine in the Outfield for years now lol. They play all 8 other innings but are going to spontaneously combust during the 9th. It’s completely useless roster spot unless you can’t find anything better. Sure if you have a better OF use him. But Zimmer is not important in anyway.

    The goal would be replacing his roster spot with someone who can actually hit and do more. Its a talent upgrade. We really don’t need someone to play the 9th inning in CF and pinch run. He’s not even that good at pinch running hes just fast.

    I would like to think Zimmer’s place on the team can end at any time. I’m sure if they felt they could promote someone better or upgrade the bench it would have been done. His defence and speed is kind of a placeholder.

    How would I if they get deleted? What is the line exactly because it seems to only exist if you aren’t pro vaccine. How are people supposed to know anything without reference. Deleting the posts is pointless because it will just keep happening everytime it comes up. What you do is address it directly.

    We definitely don’t need another Outfield addition unless its Soto. I would be down for getting a power lefty bat for the bench. Otherwise the focus needs to be all pitching. Atleast one starter and 2 relievers should be the bare minimum. Maybe a defensive first backup catcher with Kirk and Jansen in the lineup otherwise. Collins is a massive waste not being able to hit or catch well.

    I just think you shouldn’t combine personal feelings with how you moderate a message board. The vaccine is not politics. The vaccine mandate is relevant in Baseball discussions because of how its impacting players crossing the border. Censoring it is silly. Perhaps pin a thread that says don’t get into personal feelings about the subject but its a relevant Baseball discussion as long as the mandates exist. I don’t care about it anymore than that.

    Very much this. The over moderating is super unnecessary and it’s very one sided. Normally I don’t care but it’s actually starting to interrupt good conversation.

    It’s important to reward yourself and others sometimes. Life is hard enough. Lets not make it harder for people : )

    I think the Red Sox should give Tapia a monster contract in the off-season for the show he put on at Fenway.

    Would be a really cool story if he made it. Those are some insane numbers regardless of where he played.

    I definitely would want to hear Bo's take on this. Bo seemed thrilled when his Dad was on the coaching staff. But this could be related to why he longer is. Bizarre story for sure.

    I guess whatever results in him hitting the ball harder consistently. Obviously groundballs are not usually a good thing but getting any value out of him at this point is a plus. Hes probably not going to be here next season. They clearly have tinkered with his swing more than once.

    Jackie Bradley Jr. is so bad at the plate. Its amazing they still play him as much as they do.

    He's mostly fine but there's rarely ever a non nervous 9th with him.
