Against a RHP that was the correct call because you're not gonna pinch hit for your best defensive second basemen with the lead but Espinal is an abysmal hitter vs RHP so correct decision that got us a run.

Its 100 percent on the line. The Jays entered this year as the favourites in the Division. If they stumble down the stretch or fail to advance from the Wild Card I think he’s gone. It’s almost impossible for them to not get one of the 3 slots. They would have to be pretty historically awful. .500 Baseball the rest of the way should secure a spot.

He's still so young. Most people are shocked that hes only 23. It shouldn't even be that difficult for him to shed that weight. He's like 5'8 approaching 300 pounds. And 5'8 might be generous.
