    Very happy for Vladdy. He deserved this. Actually good derby I just don't like the announcers or the fact that we can't see the bombs like we did in the past. It just happens to quick. You're always turning the page.

    I’m changing to Vlad before it starts because I want to cheer for him and not a Ray. But I have seen Randy hit 20 consecutive homeruns in batting practice before so kinda shocked nobody took him.     Only time will tell but I thought they did well all things considered. One of the highest upside players in the draft. A couple decent looking college arms. A high upside high school arm and couple College Outfielders that performed very well and could potentially move fast. Alot of guys that were ranked well and performed well.

    Trading Kiermaier unless your selling is a no. But they absolutely should platoon Varsho if they get a suitable right-handed bat. He should ideally never get an at-bat against a left-handed pitcher. He’s been one of the worst hitters in Baseball against lefties with atleast 50 at-bats the last 2 years. And that is with the bunt hits.

    Was not expecting a High School arm. Lots of senior signs coming up. Gonna think Arjun wants in the 3.5-4m range. And this kid will want around 2 million.

    Shocked he’s actually healthy. Hasn’t been the case very often and in his professional career.

    If you look at most draft boards he pretty much was the BPA. Some had him in the Top 10. MLB.com had him at 11.

    I really don't think Danny is going to be that expensive to retain. Plus he's fairly injury prone. Would be shocked if he got anymore than 2-3 year deal.

    So apparently they lose 10 slots for going over the luxury tax. But since that only takes them half way into the competitive balance and comp picks it’s still considered their first round pick. The Dodgers' first pick is 36th overall, which was dropped ten spots because their payroll exceeded the competitive balance tax threshold by over $40 million last year. Their second-round pick is No. 60. For the No. 36 pick, the recommended slot value is $2,362,700.

    He is a guy that we might be talking about in the future for regret with his insane swing and miss. But there's also an excellent change he walks everyone and ends up in the Bullpen.

    You can't fault the organization for wanting to dream on upside. If they hit on this kid the marketing potential is insane.
