    I swear if the Jays can just convince Manoah to hit the gym hard this off-season and he comes back athletic looking he will be just fine. He needs to get down to his brothers size.

    Verbal diarrhea because I don't want the Jays to spend $6M on Yimi Garcia next season and I want Daulton Varsho to have a platoon partner ok Spanky. Not much left between the ears I see.

    Hopefully the bats are back today. Or it could be a long day. Crazy to me they are letting Manoah make another start after what we just witnessed.

    He plays in a bandbox. The Bisons ballpark is an absolute joke. A lot of the Bisons pitchers numbers are inflated as a result. As a team that’s going to be right up against the tax. Giving Yimi Garcia 6 million for mediocre middle relief would be piss poor asset management. You could scoop up guys off the scrap heap or give 2 guys that money to do the same job. He’s got to go. I would like to start seeing some of these younger arms not making anything. Danner was an example and already on the 40-man.

    Its the 6 million option they should be trying to avoid. Green is coming back. And quite frankly I feel Danner should be on this roster by now.

    He doesn’t hit for any extra base power vs Lefties. He’s basically a slap hitter against them. You can’t just look at the batting average and say hes fine against them. He’s been horrendous hitting period this season but all 12 of his Homeruns are against righties and 11 of his 13 doubles. Last year tells a larger story.

    As long as they find it I’m good. But they need a stick in LF. Can’t roll with 2 defensive first players in the OF. Kiermaier provides so much value at his price point it’s almost frustrating to lose that.

    Ok he can do that against righties but he needs a platoon partner.

    Varsho has done literally nothing to warrant playing everyday moving forward. He’s at best a platoon player moving forward. Look at his career OPS and wrc against Lefties. And tell me again why he should be playing against them. I’ll wait.

    They should probably DFA Yimi soon to avoid his option for next Season. Not sure why they would want him on the books for 6 million next season. I feel they could bring in 2 similar relievers for that price.

    Would prefer they retain Kiermaier and upgrade LF.

    He should be increasing his protein intake and eating whole foods. The assumption that salad is good for you has to stop. The common America salad is full of bad fats and bad carbs mostly because of the highly processed cheese and dressing they use. He’s a professional athlete that should be both weight training and performing in game. So he needs a source of lean protein and healthy carbs and fat. His issue is probably strictly portion sizes and snacking. Cuts that out the weight will fall off and he won’t have to restrict his diet that much. You can eat plenty of good tasty foods while maintaining a calorie deficit. I don’t think he should be in a deficit during the season but he should learn his maintenance calories. He’s so overweight he would probably lose a lot of weight regardless.

    Varsho should be a part time player. He can’t hit. We have all accepted this and moved on. It’s about finding ways to get better now. Don’t have time for princess to figure it out.
