  1. Well f*** me I guess. Game is cursed if your giving up hits to Walls.
  2. He probably pitches deeper in this game if he opened.
  3. Walls is the equivalent of a pitcher hitting so should be fine
  4. Good let him. I will drive him to the airport myself with one way ticket to Korea.
  5. He should get Simpson and then not be allowed to face Junior. John Schneider is not a serious manager if he does.
  6. Terrible First Inning. But Lauer is keeping them in it. 4 innings of 3 run ball is about what they should expect him from him at this point. Letting him see the top of the order again probably not a good ideal. But I would imagine he would atleast face SImpson.
  7. Clements defensive metrics have been well down across the board thus far.
  8. I don't think he will be offered a long term extension. But I do think the qualifying offer remains a possibility unless he has a really bad offensive Season. But I don't think he will decline it either.
  9. They have to bring him up he only gets 30 days of rehab time before he has to get activated. Unless they come up with a phantom injury which I doubt he will be on board with.
  10. Nope. Max Silver has to let me fire him into the sun. He gets the final say here.
  11. I wish that Hurricane took out more than just the roof.
  12. The Tigers really should have traded him when they had the chance. Now they are going to lose him for nothing.
  13. Would be stupid not to take Oka again.
  14. I won't disagree that the Jays pitchers in general don't hold base runners well. It's an ongoing problem. But he simply doesn't have the arm strength to compensate. I didn't portray him as hopeless. He's just not good enough of a Catcher to warrant him being rostered if he's going to OPS sub ,400. Once Kirk's back and Valenzuela is the backup who actually some pop, arm strength, and does most of the things Heineman does already the Blue Jays are a better Baseball team.
  15. Valenzuela is better at most things and considering he's catching a lot of pitchers he's never caught before plus being a rookie its certainly unfolding out better in game as well. I will give you the blocking for sure but that also goes hand in hand with knowing your pitching staff. The point is Heinemen has been a straight up disaster when it comes to make any fielding or throw decisions whether its been fielding his own position or getting throws on the bag. I don't care if he doesn't have the arm strength to throw out runners. That is what it is at this point its how many he has air mailed or needlessly thrown that has led to runs. His metrics do look a lot better than what plays out in game though. But lets not forget Valenzuela is also an excellent framer.
  16. OPS now under .400 in 50+ at-bats. Doesn't frame, block, or throw well. Apparently was crying at his locker and needed to be comforted after being pulled from the game today. Its becoming a bit much at this point.
  17. Sosa doesn't have any options. So it makes sense he would stay over just straight up DFA if Schneider can simply be sent down. He would probably benefit from the reset at AAA. Because it helped him last year.
  18. Apparently he always has some lingering leg or foot injury that prevents him from running. Its infuriating.
  19. I thought his velo in his last start agianst us was concerning. But he was literally throwing 90 in that inning.
  20. Win today and you're back at .500. Would be nice to just go on a nice run. AL has been pretty down overall but the Yankees still shot out of the gate despite half their lineup hitting sub .200.
  21. Is anyone really surprised by this? I thought they were going to be really good. They have some really good hitters and they always find pitching regardless of how much they trade away or lose due to injury. I had them in the 90-95 win range. Much better than the Red Sox and Orioles anyway. Yandy Diaz, Jonathan Aranda, and Junior Caminero coming at you is arguably one the best lineup trios in the game.
