    Jays wouldn’t have got swept in a 5 game series. I still think it’s dumb the DS is only 5 games. All those good teams sit for a week to have the Season over that quickly. It’s a bit rough.

    Thursday can’t come soon enough. Shapiro needs to fire both and start fresh.

    Not debatable. They still have s***** pitching though. They have the assets to trade for some just haven’t yet. They also haven’t spent any money yet either will be interesting to see if they do. They are set up quite well

    Orioles rotation sucking in the playoffs was the most predictable thing ever.

    Is Varsho easy to cheer for because he’s 5’7 and looks like he’s from Lindsay, Ontario? I don’t want feel good stories. I want attractive alpha dogs. Picking him over Kiermaier is like choosing Rudy over the hottest guy at school.

    Moreno has been nothing short of dynamic in this post season so far. Not only does he come up with big clutch hits he completely eliminates the other teams running game. He’s going to be a good player in this league for a long time. I still can’t believe the Jays traded him. Varsho’s plate struggles have just compounded the issue. If we really wanted a Defensive Outfielder with control I really don’t think they needed to part with the organization #1 prospect. Plus Jansen can’t stay healthy and Kirk is a disaster.

    I can't believe both Akins and John are both returning. This is a massive off-season for them.

    I would be fine with Votto being a pinch hitter off the bench and starting occasionally but he would not be a big part of the plan. He looks like he can be serviceable for cheap. Not a bad veteran hitter to have on your bench. Plus he's one of the best Canadian Baseball players to ever play so it would be cool to see him finish his career here. It's a logical fit.

    He's got a lot to f***ing answer for. That's for sure. Hopefully the media isn't pussies like usual and actually grills him.

    I agree with all of these except for Espinal. Cut bait. He can back on a minor league deal if he wants.

    Your 0-6 in the playoffs I think someone has to get fired. He already fired Montoyo he can fire Schneider but if he's just going to employee another puppet does it really matter? It kinda has to be Atkins.

    I don't think you can fix low IQ. And his antics are just growing old. Apparently the Jays have brought in a variety of different veterans to try to talk to him and he continues to just do his own thing. Don't see a commitment to the body. Obviously the value in a return has to be there. I just don't think he is that guy. That we apparently think he should be.

    I think shopping Vlad this off-season is the play. See what kind of offers are out there. Obviously you don't trade him unless a team is willing to gamble on his potential and underlying stats. But I just don't know if Vladdy is the type of player you should look to build around. There's gotta be one bitch team out there that will suck Atkins dick for him.

    Well atleast the off-season is starting with some good news. I’m sure he was a fine infield coach. But f*** did he suck as the Third Base Coach.

    I don’t really have an issue with them discussing a gameplan of using Kikuchi in an almost bridge situation. But your gameplan has to change based on what you see. If he was struggling or looked off you make an aggressive move like that. I understand the logic but that really didn’t happen at that point in the ball game. Could have happened a couple innings later. That was the best I have seen Jose inawhile.

    I just don't know why anyone would want that job... the job is making decisions but you aren't actually making them.

    Absolutely zero reason Varsho should be guaranteed a starting job next year. Under no circumstance has he justified getting 600+ AB's.

    I don't really understand what the point of managing is if someone else is making decisions for you. It makes no f***ing sense.

    There's absolutely no reason to think he would be suitable enough to play Third Base next Season. That would be a massive downgrade across the board. Didn't even have a good AAA Season.
